Zionist attacked Gaza to save itself
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the recent Zionist attack on Gaza was triggered not by expansionist motives but to save the Tel Aviv regime.
President Ahmadinejad said in an interview with Pakistan’s Geo TV on Thursday. 

“The Zionist regime was after expansionism in the previous wars but this war was waged specifically to salvage a group of Zionists,” said Dr.Ahmadinejad.

He described Zionism as the root cause of the plundering of nations and the perpetrator behind many terrorist activities and drug businesses in the world and added that the Zionists pursued a warmongering policy but their recent attack on Gaza had a different motive. 

The main leaders in the US as well as the Zionists ruling over America have come to the conclusion that the Zionists would not be able to continue under the current condition, so they seek to alter the situation through waging wars, Dr.Ahmadinejad added. 

President Ahmadinejad said that those ruling Zionist regime are not happy with the current condition and seek to change the situation through wars to salvage themselves, reiterating they will, however, fail to change the situation to the benefit of the Zionist regime. 

“The aim of the change in the current situation of the Zionist regime is to replace the radical elements ruling the regime with others. In doing so, they intend to poison the atmosphere to achieve their goal but they will undoubtedly fail and they have to go,” he added. 

President Ahmadinejad has recommended a joint Conference of Ulema from Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan to adopt common strategy for international campaign against terrorism.

President said, "We should not kill each other as we are Muslims and believe in one God. 

We should only think like a Muslim." 

President Ahmedinejad said, "our Holy Prophet (PBUH) was neither a Sunni nor Shia but a Muslim. Killing each other strengthens the enemy and weakens us." 

He said that people in Pakistan are not scared of terrorist attacks and blasts, in fact they are facing it with courage. 

President said the western powers do not want Pakistan to make progress. Iranians are with the people of Pakistan and will not leave them alone. 

He warned that presence of US in Afghanistan is dangerous for regional countries.
