Amir Kabir is the symbol of Iranian heroes

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called Amir Kabir as a symbol of Iranian nation heroes and said that Iranian nation is on the road to progress.

Dr.Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a ceremony to mark the 161st anniversary of assassination of Amir Kabir, anti-colonialist and progressive reformist prime minister under Nasser-eddin Shah of Qajar.

President Ahmadinejad said that Iranian nation is more vigilant and awake than ever and would continue with the path to progress.

He said Iranian nation would surely remove impediments on the way to conquer climax.

He added that future belongs to Iranian and world nations.
